My name is David Philo. I am a British national, born in London and living in The Netherlands since 1974. I have a predominantly technical background rooted in industrial processes, wastewater treatment, water management and sustainable energy projects. I have the Dutch Middelbaar Onderwijs Akte and have 30 years of experience of teaching adults at evening school at Schoevers Opleidingen and have independently given various “in company” courses in technical English in and around Rotterdam for various companies. Next to this I have given guided tours of technical installations to numerous foreign groups and delegations visiting the Netherlands.

Mijn naam is David Philo, Engelsman geboren in Londen en sinds 1974 woonachtig in Nederland. Ik heb een overwegend technische achtergrond met ervaring in industriële processen, afvalwaterzuivering, waterbeheer en duurzame energieprojecten. Ik bezit een Nederlandse Onderwijsakte Engels en heb 30 jaar avondles gegeven aan volwassenen bij Schoevers Opleidingen in Rotterdam. Tevens geef ik als zelfstandige “in company” cursussen in technisch Engels bij verschillende bedrijven in de regio Rotterdam. Verder geef ik ook rondleidingen in het Engels aan verschillende buitenlandse groepen en delegaties die technische installaties willen bezichtigen.
